This beautiful little boy - aged 6 mths - is dressed in a beautiful silk garment - in a traditiional style. The garment is smocked in silk and beaded and has silk bootees to match. A real charmer!!

Christening designs for boys!!

With lots of interest in boy's christening garments - here are a few different garments that

I have created. These garments can be created to your own design and pattern - from the age of

birth to 12 months plus (depending on when you wish the christening to take place!).
This garment is made of silk - with 'checked' pintucked collar and cuffs.
This garment would fit a child up to Sizr 1.

Keep watching this space!! A new market will be taking place on Saturday the 9th April!! 'Artisans market! - will be held at Wrights Road Reserve and Community Centre. (opposite Kellyville Plaza). Sounds exciting - market starts at 3pm to 9pm. An afternoon - and a chance to relax with dinner under the stars!! Please watch as I create new garments - lots of easy wear clothes for girls - lots of jackets - and overalls for boys and girls from birth upwards.!! Another new year begins - with exciting creations!! Keep watching this space - new garments are being created - including overalls for girls (a request from the last Mathilda's market), with overalls for 'tween seasons as well as for winter. There will be boy garments are well - so that they don't miss out!! New jackets as well - with some sleeved dresses, that can be worn in 'tween seasons and with a jacket for cooler weather.

Christening garments

Here is a taste - of some unique christening garments - I have created.

The first is a beautiful silk garment - a special order for a little girl -

created in pink silk with a silk organza overlay - with silk smocking

beaded flowers, shadowork - all beautiful handwork!! A bonnet to

match was also created.

The next garment - is a beauitful outfit for a little boy - again in silk

with smocking in navy silk, and navy trim on the garment, beret

and bootees - which are piped in navy!!

Beautiful Christening garments - special orders!!

A beautiful Christening garment - was custom made for a special little girl!!

This garment was made of pale pink silk with a silk organza overlay.

The garment was smocked under the bodice in pink silk - the bodice of silk organza, had a scalloped edge, embroidered with shadow worked bows and small beads. Sleeves also of silk organza - were adorned with shadow worked bows and small beads, edged with a fine silk bias.

The hemline is a scalloped edge, worked all around with shadow worked bows and small beads. A bonnet to match - had a scalloped edge - with a shadow worked bow and beads.

A unique garment - something to treasure!!

Welcome to the 2010 Winter collection...

'In the Navy' collection

A lovely - easy to wear pinafore - just for winter, with a bright smocking panel.

This garment is size 12 months.

Another look at the pinafore - in size 2

- garments available in sizes 12 months to 3 years - with larger sizes made to order.

Garments come with bright pink smocking or bright green.

'Liquorice Allsorts' collection

Two different styles are featured here - the first, in orange with black smocking and black trim

- a simple A line skirt, in size 12 months.

The second garment is green - with a whole smocked skirt in black with black trimming.

Bright and comfortable for those wintery days!

Garments come in sizes 12 months to 3 years - with larger sizes made to order.

There are 3 different styles to choose from - colours range from bright green, bright orange, bright blue and bright pink.

Also available are 'one-off' designs - from fabric collected.

The first - A popular traditional style - with a soft blue floral print - with the traditional collar and cuffs.

This garment is size 18 months.

The second - 'one'off' design

- Sometimes one particular fabric catches my eye - and a design is immeditatly created!!

This garment is smocked around the waist - and comes with pink pants for that really cold weather!!

I love to create beautiful stylish garments for children.

A love for fabric, colours and patterns attracts me - and from there the ideas flow - enabling a beautiful fabric to be enhanced by handwork - (including smocking, embroidery and fine machine work).

All of my garments are my own design - with continual ideas and not enough time to create!!

I also make beautiful heirlooms - with individually designed and created christening gowns for boys and girls which can be passed down through family generations. Custom designs are welcome!
